Suvic is in charge of the infrastructure and foundation work of the Merkkikallio wind farm

Construction work on the Merkkikallio wind farm began in May.

Merkkikallio wind farm is located in the Vaasa and Mustasaari area. The project was launched as early as 2013, and construction work began in May 2021.

Suvic is in charge of the infrastructure construction of the wind farm, including roads, cabling and foundations. There are 15 power plants in the area, and the construction work began on 12 power plants in May. Infrastructure will be built for the three remaining power plants when the building permits become final for them. About 10 km of road will be built and 25 km of cable layed. The nominal power of the power plants is 5.5 MW and the wing runs at a maximum of 240 meters.
