
Elias Markko, who will soon be graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, was hired by Suvic as a foreman. Elias has experience in cable work from previous jobs for several years, so it was natural for him to start at the Puskakorpi wind farm as a foreman for cable and electrical work. In the longer term, his goal is to become a construction manager, after he has accumulated more skills and experience.
Elias says he has been well received and it has been nice at work. The best has been the diversity of work, flexibility, the atmosphere of the work community and, the opportunity to learn something new every day.
“I’m all right here,” Elias ponders aloud at the end of the interview.
